The Awakened is now available at Kobo

Weeks ago I read that Kobo, an ebook and apps retailer with their own eReader product (like the Kindle or iPad), was also the world’s largest seller of books for mobile devices like cell phones. Today, I made a valiant effort to find the source of that statement so I could quote it, but I was unsuccessful. Oh well; it’s only a side note anyway. The real point of why I am writing is because, for the last seven months, I haven’t seen any versions of The Awakened show up on Kobo’s site. Apparently, they had an enormous backlog of titles from Smashwords and were struggling to handle the influx of new books.

Well, I’m happy to announce that The Awakened has finally arrived at Kobo, just in time for Christmas!

I loved the Awakened book series! My question is, how is The Wandering Stars book different from books 1,2,3? Hope to see a book 4 soon! It's killing me not knowing what gonna happen!

You are an amazing author reading the awakened now and getting ready to Skype with you. I want to become an author as well. Can you give me a few tips please? Sincerely dayshawna

dayshawna,

The most important thing is to have a concept that you find intriguing--something that will capture your attention throughout the writing process. After that, there are lots of creative writing resources out there (online, library, etc.). One that I recommend is Story, by Robert McKee. It's targeted for screenwriters, but it applies to anyone trying to tell a story, whether thas' in a book, on screen, or on the stage.

Good luck,

Im hoping there will be more books because im pumpt to read on. Kael is very intriguing. Just saying, if you need a proof reader id be happy to do it, i find spelling errors and whatnot all the time and its annoying. But your books are great so proof reading or free ideas/brainstorming are at your disposal here. im no expert but these are my kind of books (fantasy, fighting, martial arts/assassin) stuff like that, and i study the type of fighting and meditations you seem to use with kael so who knows what ideas you might like to use. Well either way cant wait to read the next book. Feel free to email me: Dratowne666@yahoo.com. My name is Andrew by the way, going to leave amazon feedback now. Have a Great Day. Namaste

alexis b.h,

It's too soon to set a release date, but it will likely be available sometime next year.
